My Shiny Hiny

Though the fur is slowly growing back & the stitches are due to come out Monday morning, Paco's Hiny is still Shiny. In two weeks the soft cast will come off, but he'll still be confined to the bedroom for another month. This will be hard on him without Tinkerbell by his side day & night.
As for the culprit responsible for his broken hind leg, she was chased off by our dog Buddy a few days ago. I was sad to see the kitty-cat go knowing she was scared & lost. I pray that she has found a new home where she'll feel safe & hunger free.

Wounded Pride

Poor little Poo-Hoo broke his back leg while under the house Saturday. We thought he was going to lose his foot & part of his leg. Mom thought we should get him a wooden peg in place of the paw. Ha! I doubt Paco would go for that. He had a successful surgery on Tuesday. His Vet, Virginia, told me it will be 4 to 8 weeks before his leg will properly heal. Meanwhile he'll have to get use to his soft cast --which he dispises.
I figured out the reason for his mishap. I lost kitty is hiding under our house. She/he seems very scared & hungry. I am not sure why she chose our yard, but she doesn't seem to want to leave. I think she's stil a kitten, even though she is quite large with all that fur. I don't know if the cat is male or female, but for now her name will be Sadie. LOL! Sadie the Shady Lady who spooked my scaredy cat all the way to the vets office.

Paco

Paco is a playful & very comical cat. He's about the same age as Angel. He's a bit of a scaredy-cat. Runs & hides whenever spooked. He's also a love-bug. All the animals seem to love him --even if they don't all like each other, they all like him. He thinks Tinkerbell is his Mama. Sometimes he irritates her because he likes to cuddle up next to her even when there's not much room for him.
